From Who Charted ep. 45, Howard Kremer’s childhood fears:
“I was afraid of… We’d probably need another show to go into it…I was afraid Hitler was behind my shower curtain. Once I knew about Hitler, I just always thought he was comin’. I thought Jaws was gonna come out of the wall of my bedroom. I had a lot of problems.”
Yikes. I used to be afraid of those trains with faces on Shiningtime Station, but this is way worse.
From Who Charted ep. 45, June Diane Raphael’s childhood fear:
My bedroom was on the second story. And I had this weird fear (there was a window behind me) that there was a clown, with a knife, jumping on a trampoline… He was outside the window with a knife, and every time I turned around to look at the window, I would know in my head that he’s on his way down… and he’s coming back up.”
I thought this was so spectacularly fucked up!
